Last weekend, the family drove to Cavite for my uncle and cousin’s birthday. It was a great opportunity for me to unwind since the past week has been a topsy turvy one.

Spent the whole time reading and soul-searching. It was a relaxing trip indeed. Nothing to worry about someone whom you once love (It was an achievement to use the word “once” and finally, I can call him this letter… “x”), that girl and her abundant guts, reasons of him leaving, reasons of them doing whatever they are doing. All of those toxic wastes has been laid out of my body.

Also because of this trip, I realize a lot about me and my priorities. Sorted everything out and convinced myself to focus. Focus on how I will have flying colors when I graduate, focus on my remaining year in college, focus on finding a decent job and focus on making my family — especially my parents — happy and doing them all of the favors in this world as a payment for their hard work.

So now, I couldn’t care less of everything he might do or they might do. I already know what I should prioritize. Life is too beautiful to dwell on things and people who chose to be out of your life. I will just keep on trusting Him because He’s the only one whom I know will never ever leave me and I know He will shower me more with amazing people who’ll help me grow and will support me inspite of all my shortcomings.

Here’s to new beginnings and to the new me! :)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

UPDATES, UPDATES! So, for your information guys… I am still alive and kicking! Sorry for abandoning my blog for awhile because I am making the most of my remaining summer vacation (summer classes will start on Monday and we have 7am class. 7 freaking am!!!!) and another reason is that our internet acted lulzzz for 2 weeks and the globe team acted as if they’re in the moon. We have to call them several times and finally after 2 friggin weeks, we have our net back.
Anyway, as my come back post… Let me share to you how I spent my summer so far.
1) Occidental Mindoro (March 13-17, 2013)

As what I’ve mentioned in this post, we had an unexpected trip to the province because of my grandma’s death. After her interment, our family took advantage of our times there and had our stroll in the beautiful beaches, spontaneous island hopping, non-stop eating (sea foods and freshly fishes straight from the fisherman’s net to the grill) and picnics (wherein we ate in the banana leaves and shells! yay!). Also one of the most adorable things that happened there is that I got to bond with my cousins and cutie nieces and nephew! Heck are those absences, twas worth it!
2) Outing with mom’s co-teachers at Paradise Adventure Camp and Resort. (March 26, 2013)

So basically, I don’t have anything to share about this day because as you can see, it’s my mom and her co-teacher’s event and there are no one to bond with who’s in my age except the 13y/o goddaughter of mom and my brother. I pretty much just babysat them. Lol. The only consolation in that day is that there are no other people except us in the whole resort so we own the whole place! Lol. We swam our hearts out under the scorching sun. Yep… tanned.
3) Swimming with my college friends at Ciudad Christhia Resort 9 Waves, San Mateo Rizal. (April 6, 2013)

Recently, my friends and I together with ze boyfriend packed our bags and went to a sweet escape (before summer class start) in San Mateo, Rizal. It was supposed to be in a beach but to no avail. It was also supposed to be in a resort somewhere in Pansol, Laguna but then again, to no avail. Another and the last supposed to be is that we are originally 13 but then again, to no avail. Some didn’t managed to join because of personal matters. But all in all, we had a nice night! 9 waves is such a great place! We totally enjoyed the jacuzzi and the legit waves! Lol. Our deepest gratitude to my Hanibunch, Hesi for making all those possible and for being the punong abala. Also to her dad! Hee. :”>
That’s pretty much my summer so far and I hope there will be more spontaneous events when the summer class starts! Here’s to hoping that we will not spend the last days of summer dealing with school works!
What’s happening in my life lately:
- I celebrated my 19th birthday last March 4. (I will post a separate blog post for this soon as long as I’m free)
- Sadly, 3 days later my grandmother died at the age of 83.
- Been running (Oh well yeah, not literally) back and forth to Bulacan, St. Peter Chapel Commonwealth and Baste since Friday.
- Sleepless nights.
- 3 days absent starting tomorrow because my grandmother’s interment will be at our province wherein there is no cellphone signal and of course, internet signal.
- Will not see my pangsie for 4 days. :(
- Bonding with cousins! <3
- Bonding with my favorite niece and nephew.
So yep, when the clock strikes at 2, we’ll be heading to an island in Mindoro. I’ll get back to you all soon!
Ciao xx
Heya, Cassandra! <3
Just had the urge to update. Well, as you all can see (i know you can’t lol), I am slacking since I got home. We’ll be doing our speech as pre-finals in personality development tomorrow and I ain’t preparing. Heh!
On the other note, it’s the last day of February today. Hello birth month tomorrow! Hello birth day on Monday! <3
Once again, I was given a chance to be a new godmother. New godson means new addition to the kids that I’ll going to buy gifts during Christmas. Lol. But all in all it is nice being chosen as one of the godmothers again. Imagine, they chose you because they trust you.
I so love my nephew-slash-godson to bits! He is so adorable. Looking at the other kiddos that’s in the church earlier no one is hyper as Darren! Heh. Some are crying, sleeping or just looking out from nowhere but Darren, he is always ready to play! Aww, cutie baby. When the camera is turned to him, he can’t help but feel giddy and do cutie poses! Oh zo adorable litol bby. :”>
Welcome to the Christian world baby Darren! ☻
BIG BIG BIG BIG Burger!
Who can say no to that scrumptious food? Well, not me.
Mom bought a BIG burger earlier for us as a pasalubong. Mouthwatering food, it is. Heh! Divided it for four of us — Mom, Pop, Me and my bro. It’s really big and delicious! I was never a fan of cheese but the burger is just too amazing that you don’t want to waste every bit of it. My tummy is happy when I finished my part. So yum!
Sorry for different qualities of photos. I used flash in the first two because my bro can’t help but ruin the burger. I was like.. “I am still taking a picture of it, okay!”. Lol.
Lovely Finds! <3
Because Mom has a seminar and because of boredom, I decided to do a so-so general cleaning in the living room earlier. Our house needs a serious cleaning so I’m glad that laziness is away today. Got 3 big plastic of trash — used notebooks, papers, unimportant stuffs, elementary test papers of both me and bro, my high school papers (e.g. Projects, Exams, Journals and many more) and other stuff that is not needed to be kept anymore.
Besides from seeing mountain of trash, I am glad that I found some things that are wonderful to my eyes!

Those are the pictures during my parent’s wedding. <3 Though I saw them many times already, I can’t help but feel giddy. Heh! I love their looks way back and seeing them now, Wow! What a big changes! I am amazed more of how beautiful my momma is then and still. I bet she’s been a heart breaker during her teenage years. She is just so beautiful, I can’t even. And, I felt the need of restoring those lovely pictures because its photo album is not in the good condition anymore.

Next, those books! Those are the books Papa used when he is still in college and in law school (Too bad, he didn’t continued to law. I came early a year after they got married, eh. So instead of law school, all the money has been put to me!). The good thing is, I found them in a right timing! Hee. I will have the subject Rizal this semester and the Phil. Constitution next semester. So this is a big help. In fact, I’m starting to read Rizal already. It is just sad because some of the ratatouilles made the book like that. Bad, mousey mouse!
I also found things that are sentimental to me! (e.g Little gifts since elementary, stuffs given by friends, etc) I didn’t manage to take a picture of them because I’m too busy.
And because of being industrious today, Papa rewarded me with my favorite food at dinner.
Hurray for the good and productive day!

I accompanied my mom earlier at my auntie’s wedding because papa can’t make it. I then, received lots of “Ay ang dalaga na ang prinsesa ni Pancho! (my Papa’s name)”, “Nung huli kitang makita’y bata pa. Suplada ka pa noon.” Nothing’s new, anyway. When we’re attending gathering like this with relatives, I expect them to say that to me and still, my expectations never fail me. Lol.
I pretty much got bored because most of them there are oldies (You know, people that are not in my age. Hee.) and I don’t have close cousins in there. So I just took random photos.

The view from the window.

With mum.

And.. here’s the pictures when we’re at the reception.

I do love the flower girls’ outfit with matching flower crowns. Oh, how I love flower crowns. But I just don’t know how to do it. :(

Finally got the chance to capture the bride and the groom. (I’m always on the bad spot, eh? Also, I’m with mom so I wasn’t able to take lots of photos)

Uhm, Hi! :))
The wedding went okay, but It’ll be better if it is more solemn and they didn’t made us — guests — hanging and incredibly hungry because of their wedding program and whatnots. But all in all, It is the love of the couple that made their wedding perfect. ♥
